This is not a picture of a World War II convoy on the AlCan. It is, instead, one of the vehicles which drove the AlCan in 1992 as part of the 50th Anniversary festivities. While the road looks rugged in this image it would have been much worse in 1942. Also note that this truck is a 1945 model.
